WIN THE LOST

AT ANY COST

At GHCC, our commitment to making a heavenly impact extends far and wide. Right here in Cape Town, we’re dedicated to reaching out to every community, from bustling urban neighbourhoods to the quieter suburbs, with the message of hope and the healing power of Jesus. We believe that God’s family is not confined to the walls of our Church but is a global community, and we’re excited to play a part in its expansion.

Our mandate:And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.’” Mark 16:15-18.

Beyond the borders of Cape Town, our mission takes on a global perspective. We’re passionate about reaching out to people from all walks of life, transcending geographical boundaries. Our aim is not just to share the message of faith but also to provide tangible support, care, and healing to individuals who may be facing various challenges and struggles. We believe that through acts of kindness, compassion, and the transformative power of God’s love, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of people, no matter where they are in the world.

So, whether it’s through local community outreach in Cape Town or reaching out to those in need on a global scale, our commitment remains the same: to give hope and healing, all while expanding God’s family and fostering a sense of unity and purpose in our faith community.

Rwanda Missions

Join us in reaching Rwanda for Jesus. Along with sharing Jesus, we build gardens that not only provide food but also symbolizes the growth of hope and resilience. Through this mission, we aim to serve not only the land but also the hearts of the people, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. As we dig into the soil, we also cultivate relationships, working hand in hand with the local community and church to bring positive change. Come be a part of Rwanda Missions, where the seeds we plant extend beyond the earth, reaching into the lives and futures of those we are privileged to serve. Together, let us nurture growth and sow the seeds of a brighter tomorrow.

Why is Evangelism Important?

We are called to reach our families and neighbours.

Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 14:23, “Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

We are called to share the love of God.

Our great example is Jesus. He witnessed to the lost.

Matthew 4:17-19 “From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

The early church witnessed.

Acts 2:40-41 “And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, ‘Be saved from this perverse generation.’ Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.”

We are saved and called with a purpose

Called to be a fragrance.

2 Corinthians 2:15 “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.”

Called to disciple others.

The same experience that we have received is to be shared with others.

Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

Called to be the salt of the earth

Matthew 5:13, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

We need to make a difference. The difference we make is the way in which we live before people.  We need to “preserve” the values that are given in the Bible and in so doing be an example to those who live among us.

Called to be the light of the earth.

Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden”.

Why are we able to be a witness?

  • We have been empowered to be a witness, Acts 1:8.
  • We have been made sufficient to witness, 2 Corinthians 3:5-6.

The Harvest is Ready!

John 4: 35b-36, “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.”
