UNLOCK SECTION 31

OPEN MY SANCTUARY

Our Senior Pastors, Pastor Neville and Wendy McDonald, are leading the charge on behalf of all religious groups to practice their Constitutional right to gather as a community while complying with the Essential Service regulations during the National Lockdown.

The campaign, Unlock Section 31: Open My Sanctuary will allow for all religious organisations to express their freedom of religion within a Democratic Society.
The petition can be found on www.change.org/unlocksection31.

Religious organisations have not been declared as Essential Services, despite so many being able to gather while complying with the South African Government’s stringent measures and regulations imposed on all declared as Essential Services. Gatherings will abide by the regulations by doing health screenings upon entry, enforcing sanitising of the meeting room after each gathering, rotating staff during gatherings to limit exposure and enforcing strict social distancing during these meetings.

The Word of God says, in Hebrews 10 v 25 (King James Version): “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
